- Starting point and progressive pattern
- Preplan for each new hazard
- Hazard/Obstacle recognition
- Leans-rolls and twists
- Up and down pressures
- Individual cuts
- Bucking and limbing techniques
- Spring poles
- Field exercises
- Team selection
- Team assigned a work area
- Team makes a plan of the area
- Select spokes person and saw operator
- Check P.P.E. and chainsaw
- Execute plan
